Hello and welcome to the new Hanford Communities website. In Spring 2020, we developed a communications plan in an effort to establish our organization’s target audiences and goals for the coming year. It was determined that a gradual and phased approach to incorporating new communications strategies would be the most effective way to pull Hanford Communities into the 21st Century and broaden our reach to new audiences while also maintaining existing ones.
Since the draft of that plan (and during a global pandemic no less), we went to work creating a social media strategy and Hanford Communities Facebook page, then launched the Hanford Communities website in January 2021. These two digital/web-based tools will greatly assist our efforts to be a hub of Hanford information and connect community members to Hanford organizations, contractors, and government partners alike.
